Candle Care

Candle care is an important aspect of maintaining the longevity, scent and safety of candles. Here are some tips that will come in handy:

1. The first burn of the candle is crucial. Make sure that it burns long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface of the candle, ideally for three hours or until the wax has melted to the edges.

2. Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each lighting. This will prevent the flame from getting too large, which can be a fire hazard. It will also help the candle to burn more evenly, as a longer wick tends to cause uneven burning.

3. Keep the candle away from drafts, which can cause the flame to flicker and burn unevenly. This can cause the wax to melt unevenly and create a tunnel in the center of the candle.

4. Always burn candles on a level surface that is heat-resistant and large enough to catch any dripping wax.

5. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This can cause the candle to overheat and become a fire hazard.

6. Finally, always put out the candle when you leave the room or go to bed. This will ensure that it does not accidentally start a fire.

Following these tips will help you enjoy your candles and ensure their safety and longevity.
